In spite of being smallest of the departments of the country, Masaya is also one of the most populated and plagued with diverse attractive. The expressions and cultural products of their small and pretty cities that keep part from the indigenous inheritance, plus the different and accessible natural destinies comprise of their ample tourist supply.
The centric city of Masaya is an important cultural destiny due to the latent popular expressions folkloric that were originated and declare there, like dances, music, street theater and colorful processions. In addition to its pretty old center, it has several attractiveness like one old strength, a levee and a great supply of restaurants, artisan hotels, bars and stores.
